Kinda quiet around here,
I see Fred McMullan is finally signed up for a race.
Not sure if I'm gonna make this one, oil pressure was 20 psi lower than normal at WOT down the straight last time out.
Going by the 10 psi per 1000 rpms rule, the 40 psi (less than 3 bar) I have now when the engine is warm is 20-25 psi too low, used to hold 60 psi down the straight.
Lane - I hear your car is under the knife for low engine power.....but take a look at DC's video of the heat race where you walk me down the straight on the race start and imagine where the gray car's engine ranks among 944 power hierarchy..... ;D

Good times ahead for me. Even though it's clenched, I am coming out there to give my all in the MR2. Goal will be to run the best session I have ever done and do it with a FOR SALE sign on the car. Hopefully it will be a good enough showing to get someone new into the sport in a very fast car. I know for sure that one of the GT2 guys just got a lot faster...We will see what the improvements have done for him soon! Patrick

Sorry to hear that.....time to roll out the turbo See y'all this weekend. If I wasn't already using 20/50w, I'd just dump some different weight oil in it and run it anyway. The motor is weak though anyway so it's not much fun to look forward to when everything on the track can blast me down the straight.... Topping it off, I'm really freakin' busy but I'd probably find myself there with Eon anyway, so.....we'll see. T

the stars and galaxies have lined up for me to make this one...all my bodily injuries cured and kiddos are all healthy. i might have one more race on my nittos or they may cord in the heat...not sure how much fun i will get to have, but there is only one way to find out. see you guys sunday.

Yeah, yeah, perfect solution.....I'll just unleash the 20% I have been keeping in the tank and just really go for it this time.... Really though Andy, it doesn't matter if I let it fly and gain 2 car lengths between me and the car behind from T8-T14.....they come from 2-3 cars back at the wall and still blast me before T1.... T
