Red meat to get the lurkers and fence post sitters out of their caves... Season is upon us, first race registration closing soon. Walt, looks like some competition for race one in yellow. Marshall is in the black Boxster and Allan's car has had a few off season changes. Same old same old for me....., low power and old tires... ;D T

I tried to get a red bracket car to race, but everyone is down if they are out. So I will just watch the brackets and help where I can. Track side, Carver

You could be the crew chief of a spec Miata, though the pay isn't much (zero really isn't much).... Lord knows, this team needs help to get towards sight of the front!

I guess I'd better get the lead out. Although if the rain shows up, I'm in good shape! Is using NOS legal on the front straight?

Troy Dang, sorry to hear that. Was looking forward to seeing which one of us forgot the most on the off... ;D Looks like Big Daddy Ron just threw his hat into the yellow ring too Walt. Shucks....., I might throw on some 22s and run yellow.... T

Whoa, times up on ML and now I don't feel so bad.... ;D
Where I thought the battles up ahead in the distance were turning at near break out times, leaving me 4 seconds in the dust, turns out, best race lap of the people I should have been around were really high 1.27s and 1.28 zone.
Props of the day out to Walt.
Walt, dunno what it was but Eon had a good theory about the rain/wet feature.
I think WE put it in your head that you were going to do very well with the good tread and that's all the confidence you needed to put your head down and get after it.
I don't know if you realized it at the time but you went from behind the entire red bracket (I know, I was second to last... ;D), all the way up into 3rd place overall.
Eon's feature video shows just how far ahead of Mike you were and it looked like nobody would ever catch you.
Just a theory, but maybe your confidence was sapped and you just "expected" to not do as well in the dry....?
Ah well....time for me to retire the 1.5 season old tires I guess... ;D
Props to John too (Carver's driver), don't know how I managed to box him on the heat start but he was quick all weekend.
Eon had a good weekend too....top spot for 944 8V in the feature.

Thanks T! So, I have you all to thank for my wet racing confidence? It felt great and I had lots of fun passing on the wet track. My in-car race dance didn't pan out, as I tried to make it rain some more when I noticed the track was drying out. :-)
Now to get over my dry track hangups....
