Nope, you weren't the only fool, I was pissed at myself for not being prepared with either one. Did I mention that I learned how to drive in the rain from Ross Bentley's book? +1 T, you know Fast Guys follows the Ross Bentley method, right? Get with the program. Uh, you must have missed the "infidel" part under my avatar.....!?!?!?! in·fi·del 3.(loosely) a person who disbelieves or doubts a particular theory, belief, creed, etc.; skeptic. Sorry Andy, but I'll pass on the Kool Aide.... T

LOL, either you didn't practice what you read or you should return the book to Amazon for credit......, might I suggest “Operation Dark Heart” by Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer....? T Do you have the uncensored first run edition? I left the Puzzle Palace almost 20 years ago after Desert Storm because of how things were run. It seems things haven't changed much. But that's off topic and perhaps better for a conversation at another time. No, I don't know how anybody does....? The Pentagon bought the first 10,000 copies and destroyed them and the second run is supposed to be heavily redacted. Looking forward to the second video, all I had to keep a constant gap. T

Another potential 944 racer in the future??? We're making an art installation, a la Cadillac Ranch. Walt, in addition to our race car, we need a street car on which to test parts. It is our new test mule. It's future, past that, is unknown, but I can say that it doesn't look good considering its new handlers...

Everyone was taking it pretty easy on the start, but John came flying around and did an awesome job hanging on to that thing in the early conditions! With the out of town race coming up in 3 weeks I wasn't so keen on pushing quite that hard in the wet....especially with my last wet start experience It was a lot of fun though, trying to find a way around Mike with Gary close behind giving me a hard time too. I wish I'd have remembered to bring my camera. You did a great job racing Mike and keeping an eye on me trying to find just a little mistake to capitalize on. But no go...you kept pushing Mike and stayed clean...great job. Next time let me by and I'll show you how to pass Mike ;D

I believe he's talking about one of those Juan Pablo Montoya kind of passes......, you know, go in over your head with all four wheels locked and the opponent has to make a choice between yielding the spot or wadding their car up... ;D In other words, you have to drive your own car AND drive for the person making the pass too... T If memory serves, I tried that move last year in 2; J didn't yield, my tires squealed and we both got wadded up Not a move I'd recommend
