My video from the Bracket/Spec Miata Feature is now posted on Vimeo. I didn't have the "centrifigal-panning" mode set on mine like Eon's camera. Nice driving by everyone to keep it incident free. vimeo.com/groups/29396/videos/15380855AAACKKKKK........ I thought I was the only fool with no WS wiper and no RainX......!?!?!?!?! Double good job Walt...! It looks like you were thinking....."Hey....I can go faster than this if you get out of my d@mned way....!" ;D T

AAACKKKKK........ I thought I was the only fool with no WS wiper and no RainX......!?!?!?!?! Nope, you weren't the only fool, I was pissed at myself for not being prepared with either one. Did I mention that I learned how to drive in the rain from Ross Bentley's book?

T I only had time to read the rain chapter. ;D LOL, either you didn't practice what you read or you should return the book to Amazon for credit......, might I suggest “Operation Dark Heart” by Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer....? You should experiment off the normal line where there's less oil residue and more rubber for better wet traction. Oh wait..... ;D T

I just added my view from the back of the pack. Walt did some great wet driving, I had to peddle as fast as I could to get by him. Great fun and good learning starting at the back. I am considering doing this the whole season.

I wish the camera would have been rolling in the 007 for the heat race

I am considering doing this the whole season. Nice DC....., I tried my d@mndest..., still trying to figure out how the heck you pulled that much on such a short drag between T4 & 5 on me. Technically, I should have even had the better drive out of T4 with you pinched on the inside. In hindsight, I guess I should have given up earlier and just tucked into a more reasonable line through T5 because I lost a lot of ground as evidenced in your mirror view. BTW - your shifting is WAY more improved.....! T

BTW - if anybody lurking wants to join the 944 fun, I have an '84, Guards Red with decent paint and body and 15" Fuchs at my shop for $800.
Car cranks but will not start and I haven't diagnosed it yet, probably something simple, i.e., fuel pump, relay, timing/reference sensor, etc.
Car has recent clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing, and had a head gasket/valve job/timing belt a few years ago so two of the main expenses should be out of the way.

T We need a suspension setup. If anyone has a set of shocks/struts/springs for a 944 (preferably late geometry), let me know. Used is fine. Overpriced is not.

T Do you have the uncensored first run edition? I left the Puzzle Palace almost 20 years ago after Desert Storm because of how things were run. It seems things haven't changed much. But that's off topic and perhaps better for a conversation at another time.

Or maybe I can install some water based counter measures like the Boxster's smoke screen earlier in the day. :-) I will post a clip of the video from that session later. Total white out at one point.
