I agree. We can do do this.

Great point and we will fix this by sending out an update each event to all preregistrants when they get the schedule, tech form etc with their registration confirmation. Sheets will also be available at the gate for those who choose to register the day of the event. This will in no way take the place of the drivers meeting, but should help get the drivers up to speed quicker. Thanks for the input, we will make this happen. Chris Chris

First, let me say that I had a blast even though things didn't end the way team CCM would have liked. I like racing in the rain, so my 2 hours of wet - dry - wet again stint was alot of fun and a real challenge. I will be back for the next one for sure if the stars all align next year. T-dog...., that must have seemed like old times huh....? Who'd'a thought, in a 6+ hour event, with 10 cars on a 1.8 mile circuit, in an entirely different machine, that you'd be studying the back of the gray 944... ;D That was Hamza in the car at the time....did you see the exhaust hanging worse and worse by the lap before you got around him...? It was kinda like a rerun of a bad movie, but given the conditions, I decided to ride around behind him for awhile after I caught him. I did notice the exhaust hanging lower and lower. It was dragging and sparking pretty good going through the bumps in T5.

flyntgr - I was with CCM but as crew. Racing here in Aug. without a cool suit in my car is asking for trouble.
Chris W was watching us lap one day and wondered if we could beak 2 min/lap. We're still wonderin' on that one ..... and now with 4+ LeMons races on the motor, without doing a thing to it, it's kinda tired ......
If some specific rules are needed in order to promulgate to teams it sounds like the Chump EC Class rules would be a good template.

Doug, you're absolutely right about the cool suit! Dehydration ain't fun. Don't ask me how I know. You did well being on Chris' team. And he'll have a new engine in the bumble bee 76 before we know it.
