AH HA HA HA HA HA X 222...! No, not your engine Carver but that pic. The DOD is probably investigating why so many satellites were linking up over the past 24 hrs. with the same file being transferred from one Fredrick McMullan esquire through every server in the country.... ;D I guess I shoulda let Ben get one too but that hippo is mounted right above the exhaust tip and he was kinda hot and crispy... Re. the engine....didn't you put a fix on a low oil pressure issue about 2 years ago...? Think maybe the engine suffered a bit at the bearings back then and it just gave up this round...? BTW - "sum up this race with only two pictures" I think Beasley had one or two he'd like to tell a tale with but not sure he's even registered here... Bummer of a weekend, I never even turned a wheel, letting our guest drivers take the practice and Eon the qualy. I think we could have run with y'all again, but it's all moot anyway. T

0 Report. Plan was simple and I do mean simple, minute 40 pace for 6 hours 49 minutes and let the chips fall where they may. Perfect on paper and was going perfect up until hour3. Dennis qualified the car in 7 after missing a shift in turn 4 and executed his stint to perfection. With the rain, his fuel mileage was better than predicted and stayed out for three hours on old ratty ass tires during all of the rain conditions. His but must have told him something because the right front had a worn spot so thin, you could almost see the inside of the rim through it. When he exited the track, he was in the third position. The team had issues fueling the car and could only get 15 gal which relegated us to 6th when we returned. Jon stayed on pace working his way back up to fifth until a broken left rear shock ended our day. Congratulations to all of the teams who were able to finish. It was the toughest 400 so far and like T said, it might as well have been 24. Thanks again to all the corner crew and timing guys for a great, safe event. Good job with the fire works Harris and Brian! Carver, your car wash gift certificate will be dropped off to Loupes shop. Chris

Thanks to Chris, Kent, and the CGB crew for a fantastic event. Special thanks to the corner workers for putting up with us through such conditions. From top to bottom the driving standards were top notch, and we had a few rookies too. 6+ hours in dodgy conditions and what, one yellow?Same to be said for car preparation, 70% of the field finishing...great job guys. The Autobahn South BMW ran and ran and was setup perfectly. The Wedge Kyes crew executed like a well oiled, I mean well prepared, team (even though we had to lean on Carver occasionally, thanks Chris). Believe you me, I will promote this race next year, hope it rains again Paul

Carver, you track trash.....I don't even have that avatar file anymore to place it back.....! In the name of fair play, I'll leave that up for a few days and then I guess I have to go shrink up another pic and make a new one. Wha'd'ya think....I'm made out of free time to just play on the internet....? ;D You know how hard it is to find a pic of the gray 944 with another car anywhere near it on track....!?!?!?!?! T

T, its refreshing in this day and time to see an internet icon back up his internet words. Bummed you couldnt find your gremlin, "but thems the breaks" and yes, I want a copy of the pic for the time capsule. Hey, it's cool....., not every day you get to see a massive tricep like that.... ;D Notice the burn scars from welding the safety net buckle back up around the a-pillar the night before.....burned a fist sized hole in the seat too before I realized it was burning... I felt the pain mostly for Eon, he worked hard getting the car ready and the thing had four different drivers come off of practice and give the thumbs up for the running and handling.....you can't usually get four drivers to agree on ANYTHING....! I switched stints and let him go after Teddy because I thought the car had at least another 30 minutes in it and relegated myself to run last but it wasn't meant to be. Including practice, qualy and the two slow sputtering laps, i think Eon might have gotten 10 laps in... Oh well..., I ended up with a like new set of Z214s. Hey, we're still 1 and 1. That's batting .500. Only team with a better LA400 record than that it Harold's at 1 and -0-. T

I feel your pain, T. Our pain was losing 12-15 laps to a brake light, which I imagine is a lot less pain than a DNF. Yet your car ran really well till the Gremlins set in, so you have some consolation in knowing it was ready to roll and did run well. And like you said, you have some new Z214s to run next time. Speaking of which: COME ON AUGUST 20TH!!!! Isn't it here yet? ??

You do see the second largest stickers on that car, right Reggie. That 101 gets it go fast in the same JDM garage as the 76, 77, 88, 31, and lets not leave out the tow truck of furry. See you guys again soon, Carver

Yeah, you do good work on all those cars, and we appreciate your giving the 101 extra special attention and your secret tricks that you saved only for the 101. The "turbo" badge alone added 35 h.p.! Thanks, Chris. You da mane man. P.S. I do like your flag decals on your windshield! Patriotic American all the way!
