I was there. EPIC FAIL. I almost stayed home, but figureed I needed the escape, I made a mistake by not stopping before the incident. In reviewing the vid, I got out of the gas and started braking, then it looked like the other car was coming to a stop, so I got back in the gas. EPIC LAUNCH. New car for later in the season will be put together, using all of the good parts from this one. Sorry to have caused a delay in the race. PS Be thinking of paint schemes for the new car. All suggestrions will be considered.(except the yellow stripe accross the top) ;D

It was good to see everyone walk away from the accident, but I think we all have to be prepared for this when the racing was as close as it was this weekend. wrecks involving 3 cars wouldn't happen if the cars were five seconds apart.
Great pass on the last lap Eon...man you are fitting right in there now and it was a blast to race with you guys. Both Eon and Lane were much harder to race this time around. No slack out there. Sucks I couldn't finish, but my time in the mix was priceless. I have some electrical gremlins that still need to be ironed out. Track was super bumpy in a few areas and took its toll on an electrical connection to my tp sensor which put the ecu in limp mode. I am going to Dr that up and few other areas and try to make January.
Good job to Gary for running fast and consistent on old tires...how does this guy do it?
Dennis and Hamza had a 17 lap tussle that end in the fate of Hamza front right tire that was cording on the last lap.
Also props to Harold for showing up in his sweet M3 and making red bracket more fun. That is a fun car to watch from....ahhh behind.
Where are you Gary?

Well my motor rebuild ran great more so than the driver Clint I apoligize for holding you up and I should have let you go but I new you would eventually get around me. Man I need to get back into shape for this stuff... Red bracket is really tough now. Maybe we should be getting show up fees from the track for all this entertainment? ;D

I wish I could take credit for that pass, but Lane pointed me by and gave up the position for the points race. Because of that I think by my math I'm 1 point up on Mike and Dennis, who are tied for 2nd I believe. So thanks again for that! lol It was a fun race though we were both sliding around so much that I couldn't really make a pass on Lane unless he would have made a mistake... looking back on it maybe I should have capitalized on that ONE mistake he made in turn 3, but I was more concerned about not hitting him Clint sorry again about pushing you wide in 14 in the oil

I am not sore at all today and I ran the lapping day Saturday too. you were sliding around a bit more than usual, so I was being patient. if the gt group only has 5 guys next event maybe they should run in the bracket feature?

Great spec miata race this weekend, just wish we had 10 more cars. I also want to compliment Tommy Barrios on a very good final race. Tommy and I had several laps in very close quarters and it was really a fun race. If the oil on 14 would not have slowed him down one lap, I think he would have gotten past me.

My camcorder with a mind of its own shut down after only 8 minutes while sitting on grid . After the view I had of the launch, I was just glad you landed shiny side up and not head first into the wall. It really sucks for everybody involved, but at least were all here without a scratch and able to race another day.

Troy , no worries. I am just sorry I didn't stay on the brakes as my first reaction. But the (relatively) good news is after prelim disassembly, it looks as though the tub is in good shape, no crinkles in the engine room, hood and roof are straight, minor drivers quarter panel straightening. Much better than I initially thought. Will not be back for Jan, but hopefully will be back for Feb. and beyond. Somehow the holidays are upon us. ;D
Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!!

Sounds like an exciting day! I was at Roebling Road; took third of 12 SP2's in a three race points series. Mitch Richard was the undisputed first. Gotta love those Motons ;D
What happened? A 3 car wreck?!?

Here's the first couple of laps of the Heat race from my view. If you watch my rear view mirror just after I pass Troy's sideways car you can catch a glimpse of Troy & David's intersection. :-( David, I'm sure we'd all like to see it from your camera when you get a chance. I heard you described it was like a video game experience. I'm glad everyone's OK. vimeo.com/17558889

Gary we don't have enough car to keep up with Mitch, motons or not. 2.7 liter plus a hell of a driver not to mention Robeling Road is a good hp track. Congratulations though on your outcome.
