Season delay time killer thread.
In corners where braking and a gear change are required, do you =
1) heel/toe, as in brake with the ball of your foot and use your heel to blip the throttle when clutching.
2) heel/toe, as in brake with the middle or heel of your foot and blip the throttle at the top of the pedal with the ball of your foot or your toes.
3) rev match, as in clutch and rev overrun simultaneously, grab some brake as you let the clutch out into the lower gear.
4) something else.....do explain... ;D

Method people method......!
So you use brakes and change gears, in a straight line, in a turn, while upside down, doesn't matter, what's your personal preferred method....?
Don't they teach heel/toe at autocross school....?
;D

Pizza delivery cars are not setup very well for heel/toe. I haven't gotten the CRX pedals configured well enough to heel/toe, plus I'm not that good at it.

Ball of foot on brake, blip throttle by rocking the side of my foot against loud pedal What he said! Try to brake in a straight line and get downshift done before turn in, then trailbrake if needed. Sometimes not so good but getting better(I hope) ;D

I'm a trail braker...you have to be ginger with that pedal in my car (Mid engined and all).
So yeah I brake with the ball, blip with the heel, and stay riding the brakes with the ball. I can't recall if I drop two gears during corners right now...it's been a while since I've been on track (well not in a gokart that is).

Heel/Toe with the ball on the brake. I trail brake hard for rotation and catch the back end with the right pedal when I have room to drive aggressively. In traffic, I trail brake less and am more conservative on my transitions. I will also left foot brake in some places, like when a corvette blasts me down the straight only to park going through one. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I kid...
