Does somebody need control arms? We will have them soon. Call me tomorrow as we need to meet up, anyway.

Does somebody need control arms? We will have them soon. Call me tomorrow as we need to meet up, anyway. Made a trip around the entire paddock, nobody had a kit. I would have needed a set because Eon's are converted to the extended pin, geometry correcting type. Most late cars had converted to the steel arms so I mentioned the new billet ones to each of them. Some ingredient in shock oil eats epoxy......, who knew....? T

What drop and diameter pins does he need? Aint the pin we need. The pin stayed because it can't come out unless it eats through the a-arm pocket and it's bolted with the pin through the spindle. The epoxy fell apart and the circlip was then able to come dislodged from it's groove. So the clip, bottom cover, spring and preloaded bottom pivot bushing all were lost on track somewhere. Only thing left was the pin. After the gray car was damaged, we contemplated putting those arms on Eon's car for the last sprint but.....too much work and we needed the gray car to go into the stacker to load up anyway. T

Sometimes the racing gods just don't smile upon us I have mixed feelings about Hallett...long drive...some frustrating turns...13/13 last year running into a slooooow 911 But it is a challenging 944 type track with elevation changes and some fast turns...so give it another chance next year.

T Uh...the pins will be attached to the prototype control arms he will be testing in a couple of weeks, unless you don't want them.

Yup, and what can you say when the car went flawless for 6.5 hours in an enduro...? The issues would really have been nothing to cope with.....carry more fuel, if I wouldn't have already been so bummed about the lack of speed. I know for sure it was all me because Eon practiced Frankie and was way faster than me. Also though, his best lap in the gray car was around two seconds slower than in his car which adds up......BFGs vs. the RA1 should be 2 seconds difference, throw in a little power deficiency compared to his car and that's spot on. I'll be in my own car next trip if I decide to go back. T

Sometimes the racing gods just don't smile upon us They didn't seem to be smiling this weekend that's for sure lol It started off as a good weekend, my first session on track turned a 1.33.xxx about 2 seconds off of Chris in the SP1 pig that everyone told me about. Then the second session was able to get down to a 32.285, within .5 seconds off of Chris. I was feeling pretty good about how the weekend would turn out at that point, I thought for sure I could find that last .5 and maybe more with a few more sessions. Turns out it was not to be when I noticed that the bottom of the ball joint on the passenger side had come apart Then there was the incident in Frankie.... managed to turn a 33.9xx in ole frankie and starting from dead last in the sprint race was able to get past 2 sp 944s. A SP Boxster was holding me up pretty bad so I was leaving a gap between us, when I came over the hill in 4 I caught up with him way faster than expected. He must have made a pretty bad mistake or something going into 5 and I had to go wide right to miss him. Once the 2 right wheels were in the dirt it got away and slide across track into the corner worker stand. To my surprise the corner worker wasn't too shocked and told me that this was the 4th time someone had run into the stand that she was working So it ended up not being the best weekend at the track for me, but I did like the track and would probably go back... it is a long haul though. Henry and the Doc had a good weekend but Mike also had his fair share of problems eventually being towed in twice, with a busted header and shift linkage coming lose, He was atleast able to finish the last race. Pics to follow soon

What drop and diameter pins does he need? I don't remember how much longer the pins are but the diameter is the same as stock.

Look at Ole Phil with the front wheel in the air! I see Phil found ya'll a somewhat level paddock area.

It's about how many G's you are turning and you should be maxing those out on every corner.

It's about how many G's you are turning and you should be maxing those out on every corner. Uh, ultimately, it's pretty much a sign of a suspension that isn't optimized.....at least for that corner, too stiff a spring or an incorrect bar setting.....sure, cars do it all the time, especially 911s with all the power and weight at the rear digging out of a corner but, I digress.... ;D, four wheel's tire contact is always better than three.... Eon's car used to carry the RF wheel an inch off the deck all the way through T8 at CGB until the weight transferred back at T9....fixed that with springs though... T
