I still just want to go fast! I am up for any head to head racing, when I get a yard pass.

I'm willing to rent a car, but everyone who wants to participate must rent their own, question is what kind of car? Dodge neon, Ford Mustang, Chevy Cobalt, Ford Taurus? It will be like the two driuvers in Days of Thunder when they were driving to dinner. To paraphrase Brian Doyle Murray in Caddy shack, "it must be known that this is against all club rules and we must all agree no one will get fired." Aw shucks.....I had everyone paying an entry fee and using one of the Boxsters as the control car in mind. 1 pair of drivers head to head against each other in the solo day format....., 1 warm up, 1 hot lap, 1 cool down. Driver of the two competitors with the slowest hot lap is eliminated. Next two step up, each driver pitted against each other and the pairing is selected by the coach of each team. Maybe a further fee to "buy yourself" back into the competition that would also go to the track. Last driver standing wins. Ah well, y'all make the rules....., I'm in. T

It's darned near one comedic post after another until you wandered in with the predictable self glorification with [glow=red,2,300]a couple of your throne carriers in full hero worship chant[/glow].T Willing to serve as lifetime president of the TBDIL fan club as long as this keeps you this stirred up! ;D

T This all sounds so "reality TV" to me. Are we still joking in this thread, or am I sensing a bit of seriousness? Just as long as I get to go fast and then drink beer, I'm good with anything.

So, that's a no on the head-to-head in Burch's car? Andy, if you are paying attention......, I haven't made any claims of greatness in this entire thread. If you want or need a reason to jot down in your Dick Tracy evidence notepad from the box of Lucky Charms, go revisit the reasons you gave when I offered up the 944T for you for free with no liabilities attached. T It was because I don't drive cars on track without cages in them. Burch's car has one, so there should be no problem there.

Patrick could sell his MR2 and buy 11 of 'em.... T

T ...and maybe have one competitive red bracket car. P All you need is one. Then you could do a mechanical and technical engineering abilities demo for us and see if you can build an engine that pulls Eon's down the straight using the allowances of the PCA rule book. Hey...two fold benefit too. You could show us how to drive with 120 RWHP...... T T

While this thread has already gone everywhere.....this can't hurt. I was linking a couple of videos to Lane in a PM and revisited this one myself. It's worth the watch because it's pretty darned funny....hilarious to me....and made even funnier by the sound of Troy's clutch slipping as he tries to stay in the fight. Anyway...I jumped a couple of spots on the start and try to hold Eon off to no avail and when I waited to see his nose before I turned in at T2, Chris W. nearly gets me too. In Chris' defense, the #007 was a dog that day as you can see on the first lap as he goes 4 off at T1. After the race he said "I turned the wheel at T1 and nothing happened".....Ha ha ha ha.....! So....onward, Chris is chomping at the bit to get by me and it looks even funnier from Troy's view because my moves to block at T4 and T10 look delayed. This was one of the most fun races I've had so far. Troy, I hope you don't mind. That clutch slip when you shift and lose ground because of it is hilarious. Oh....and you should have taken that lunge at T2.... ;D vimeo.com/groups/29396/videos/8984253T

I am going to show you how it's done with LESS than 120 whp in my 914 project. I am really not very fond of 944's and 928's etc etc.

All better now with the help of some friends.

Oh, I nearly forgot. I may have another red bracket contender in the pipes.
1996 Ford Mustang V6. 150hp or pure Mayhem. We could use it for the face-off.
