Even if I don't learn anything from the read it certainly won't make me a worse driver so no harm done. That's debatable but I aint up for it. Have confidence in yourself is all I'm sayin'.....you're doing fine. T Please state your case about how Ross Bentley's book could make you a worse driver, and do so from the perspective of somebody that has never opened it. This should be great.

I think he'd rather not get into that and I'd rather not either. All it would end up doing is causing a debate since the argument is completely left up to opinion. Some people may learn something. Some people may start second guessing themselves. It's up to interpretation. That being said, if you don't trust yourself and your driving ability first and foremost on the track, you are holding yourself back from being better than you are. You'll never find your limits. The same goes for if you don't listen to sound advice. Again, it's all up to how you interpret the information being given to you.

We've been going back and forth about reading being beneficial to racing for about a year now. It's all in good fun. If we didn't argue about this it would be something else. The joking tone gets lost in type sometimes.

gmoran, T, While I love driving high powered, cars I'm not opposed to running lower power as well...see you guys in bracket soon. Patrick By "soon"....do you mean as early as the Charity Challenge...? Hmm, might have to rent Carver's car because I'm only doing the PCA races...., unless DC let's me do a heat or something in the #007 if he get's tired or burned out from doing both events. As far as next year, if I have to throw everything out of my shop space and lock the door, I'm working on finishing my own d@mned car soon......, in that case, your MR2 might be gone to another owner by then. I was looking forward to a mouse displacement battle and seeing your front bumper in my mirror.... ;D T Not even close. I have way too many other things going on (Lemons car, helping put a WRX racecar back together, working on 911, maybe buying another 911 and selling this one, house sale, house purchase, etc). I am up against a lot here...i will be lucky to be driving at the charity challenge. Also lots of people got to see me in their mirror for those brief few seconds before I lapped them. This could be arranged if it will make you feel any better. Patrick

Based on this last comment, you definitely WILL learn something from that book...I'm betting quite a bit.

Probably best in keeping your myth and fan base alive if you follow through and get rid of the car now anyway.... T

We have a bet as to how many of you it'd take to hold me down. T

Carver is building the chair, so we can install it in the driver's lounge. ;D
