I too had a great time! Very well done event and I was shocked to hear the news that I acutally ended up first in GT2!!! Hey, I'll take it!
To the guys who worked on "The Grinch" You did a great job and thanks. I was very proud of your work and I'm sure it was appreciated by all.
See you guys again soon.

Way to go, Patrick! It's nice to see a guy on a short budget pull out a win through fair play and hard work. I hope you have many more to come.
Congrats to the other winners, as well. I'll be back shortly to shake things up a bit.

I thought I knew most of what was going on before I got there on Sunday a.m. but that paddock lunch table setup was surprising and VERY well done. I swear....., the amount of thought and planning that went into that alone was top shelf. The flower bouquets at the tables with the track logo and matching colored bead layout couldn't have been done better by a professional designer. The band was awesome as well (I'm partial to Neil Young... )....! I just wish more fans would have come out and braved the weather because they would have been in for a treat for sure. T

I too had a great time! Very well done event and I was shocked to hear the news that I acutally ended up first in GT2!!! Hey, I'll take it! Didn't get to see much of the GT races with so much going on, except for the random glance of fire shooting from the rear of the MR2 while you were chasing Paul.... To the guys who worked on "The Grinch" You did a great job and thanks. I was very proud of your work and I'm sure it was appreciated by all. See you guys again soon. Patrick Well.... A LOT of work went on with that car before I ever knew about it on weekly meets at Chris' shop as documented by Patty's photos. Me and Eon got hold of the body in pretty bad shape with only 7 days to do the best we could with it and what you saw the result. I swear, I got up 1-2 hours early for several days just to get it even that presentable. There was not time to repair cracks and some of the deep gouges and the original finish was Imron....a very hard paint that difficult to sand off. We ran so close to the deadline that some of the paint was still tacky when Eon dropped the center body section off Sat. night and the random bits of paper that stuck to the white on the driver cockpit section were unavoidable because we had to mask the white to spray the black at the last minute. Anyways....after all the work involved at Chris' shop by that supporting cast and the grinding, priming and painting, it was sad to see the shifter cause problems for Tommy leaving grid... T

By the way y'all...., a few props go out for personal bests.
Mitch Landry breaking the track record for Spec Miata.
Allan Simpson into the 1.28's in the yellow bracket and Walt Roddy setting consecutive bests in qualy and the feature.
Dennis Gros and and ChrisW with very fast times that broke them both out of red bracket were impressive as well but the only view I had of that was them blasting by me.... ;D
Great weekend all 'round....!
Looking forward to some videos.

With permission from Chris, I will post his run from the back of the pack to the front (after some editing(and close study of his lines)). Will be on Vimeo later this week. There is some mud on the windshield from when Mike let Chris by between3 and four. I may just coat it with poly before I wash and service the 007. Great driving by Chris, now I have no excuses, it is capable where I am not. But I had a great time getting him his starting position. Again,Kudos to alll involved with the weekend.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see that video so I can figure out why the heck Chris was thanking me for helping him through in the first few corners.... ;D DC, humble as always but all you need is more time in that particular car and you'll close that gap in no time. The times will get better in 1/2 second bunches each and every weekend while you get more used to the importance of momentum and just trusting those cars to stick. The cornering speeds are high....because they have to be to keep momentum. You already proved this true by your improvement between Saturday and Sunday and I'll tell you again.....in qualy, I wasn't making much ground up on you in three laps of you in sight. You'll be fine. Clint, if you are checking in - what exactly happened to you in the feature....? I was heading to T8 and saw you off in the grass where it almost looked like you were coming out of the cane field.... Oh....and 'Happy Birthday' to Troy, thanks for taking Eon's fan club down to T1 and giving them the play by play.... ;D T

wow! great event by the organizers. the band was an awesome touch to our lunch break. i felt really thankful for being part of this event and racing group. many thanks to the wilken’s family and friends...and our safety crew members. we needed to know you guys were there this weekend . red group guys put on a hellava show and i was glad to be in the mix. Gary and crx was back in the mix…dennis, lane, mike…I will race with you guys any day. You guys are great drivers and very fair\smart when the going gets tough. i also set a personal best in qualifying...good stuff even though i created my own drama in the final by almost losing my right rear tire. the results could have been a lot worst so I am counting my blessings. sorry mike for jumping the green flag a half second. i did lift shortly afterwards…I have it on film. I also have the heat race footage for anyone who wants to reach out to me and get a copy. It’s worth a watch.

Great job by Chris, Lois, Kent, Harris and all the CGB crew. We need to follow Chris's call to get more racers out there. I've been to TWS, Watkins Glen, and Barber this year... this is absolutely the best deal in road-racing!
