Man, I miss Eddie...  Only knew him for a year or so but he was always active on the board and never missed an event except for waiting on major mechanical repairs. I too have fired off several messages and emails to Eddie with no response over the last year. I know there's a ratio of people around the track that love racing and cars in general so much that they could never switch interests without some kind of outside circumstances affecting the decision for them. I'm one of them. I could never substitute cars for golf, hunting or whatever. Personally, I think Eddie suffered a lot of problems with that car and the major trouble he was having at the Charity Challenge (car never completed a single session) after missing a few races waiting on major repairs sealed the deal for him to walk away. It must have been a serious let down to tow that kind of distance every month and not be reliable. This is the main reason that it is very important to start with the right platform from jump street. If I had that thorough a list of mods on a 944T, I think it'd lap the circuit without the wheels ever touching the ground and probably tow our second car and trailer to and from the track with a hitch and ball..... ;D God Speed Eddie.....!
