Got call from Jason and he is going to come run with us instead of a solo trip to VIR. Bugging the heck out to Tommy to try and get him to come out. I already have the 944 on site to run with Wayne, hopefully he can make it, should be good racing. Don;t think either one of us are going to have anything for Rome, but I will try till they throw the checker.

I'll be there. I figured out why my car would not turn left so I am looking forward to making some laps.

Another hot one, but action was hotter! Before I get started, I want to make sure the top award gets distributed first. Our friend Ben, gets the hard charger award as he started out his day, with a P2 qualifying spot and a heros effort during the event, just to see the checker flag. He suffered a broke wheel and was able to come in, swap tires and get back out in time to take some laps take the checker. Scot Grainger took Pole with Ben, Brent, Barry, Kent, David, Fred McMullen, David Cannon and David Quinlan. They finished Scott, Brent, David Quinlan, Barry Broussard, Kent Broussard Fred McMullen, David Cannon and my hero, Ben. The exhibition class, Bryon Rome, Teddy the great and myself had our own little deal going with a gentleman's agreement to roll out with the group in the rear and not start our race until lap two, giving the other racers time to get themselves sorted out. That turned out to be the best decision of the day, at least for me. I got to see Teddy and Bryon put on a clinic on race craft. The guys were great getting by traffic and with the exception of Bryon's off at one, with a great recovery not to loose a spot, i was impressed at every turn. All the while, I was keeping my eye on Scott Grainger whose q time was only a few tenths slower than mine. It took until the last couple of laps, but I got to him and by him, giving it back once, but was able to take advantage of his cooked tires through 8 and 9 to put a enough distance to stay out in front. next one in August wraps up the summer season and we hope to see all of you there. Remember, honey do's in the morning, q at 2, race at 3 and back home for dinner. Chris

Chris, I had a great time Saturday, I'll try to make it in August if I can repair the front of my car in time. Are you guys going to post the lap times on Mylaps? Thanks
