Thank you. It was specifically built for ITA in 2006. I will be looking closer at the PTE rules because of NMSP's NASA region.

The power to weight is NOT 25% more than a 944.

Glad to have you on board Skippa. Watch where you step in the 944 pool.

Looking forward to having another member in the evil Honda empire. I don't think you will be in the yellow bracket very long, once you get used to that twitchy, short wheelbase SOB. ;D Really curious to see if a top notch ITA CRX is capable of running consistent sub 25 laps.

LOL, "twitchy" would not necessarily be one of the top criteria on my want list for a road racer...., but, and I digress, when I used to fly RC (yeah Carver, I used to fly.. ) ,the full scale aerobatic best, scaled down to 1/4 scale that were advertised as "inherently unstable" in real life, made for the best you could buy. But uhm, "snap rolls" and Immelmann turns are not something you'd want to try on the track... ;D T

The great thing about a CRX as a road racing car, besides the light weight, is that it changes direction very well. And the bad thing about 'em is they sometimes change direction a little too well..... ;D T, I need some car painting advice. Give me a call when you have time. T thought you guys might be talking about Ray Daugherty. he purschased a spec 944 from a racer in the NASA series. He was at the track on Monday with Gaubert but unfortunately spent most of teh time working on a bum fuel line. they eventually got it going as Ron always does and did well for the little time he was on track. He has sprint car exp from his younger days and seems to have the right stuff to compete with us.
