After the races, we will be having dinner in the Red Line Sports Bar. GCRS will be grilling burgers, fish and all the fixins. Soft drinks will be on the house and we will honor our top finishers in the summer series as well as the Rookie if the year. Come join us for the races and stay for dinner. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Its not looking likely. I still haven't received the motor. And the overly ambitious, but under funded sci fi movie I'm working on has me working the next two weeks with no days off.

Well Buddy, sounds like you have challenges from every angle! I know that feeling, but good luck with them both. Maybe you'll be ready for the kickoff of the regular season of the Gulf Coast series in September.
Chris, thanks for the headsup about the post-race meal and celebration. The Redline is a nice addition to our race events.

David, Tommy and I have put in motors on Friday night to race on Saturday on more than one occasion. If there is anything we can do to help, beer and food go a long way with this bunch. Let us know if we can help, Chris and the crew at BCI Mototsports.

Well, I've managed to get myself 2 days off, this Saturday and next Saturday. So if the motor comes in, its at least possible. Thanks for the offer, Chris. I'm gonna try to pull this off myself, but its nice to know that if things go wrong it can be fixed with with beer and food. I scored a hoist and a leveler for $50. Any other special tools ya'll would recommend having on hand? Or just tips in general? From what I've read, disconnect everything and pull motor with the transmission. Then do the reverse. Seems simple... ha! guess I'll see.

Nate, how's your schedule working out? We hope you'll bring your SM to play. It's looking better but still not quite 100%. We have two cars now so my Dad has no excuse not to race as well. I'm looking forward to that!

I talked to Keith LaNasa and he planes to run Gerald’s white 08 car. He has taken care of a long list of overdue issues with the car so he should be in the hunt again. He is coming after you Reggie, get ready!
I think Gerald is planning to run the Panoz.

Keith is always a formidable adversary on the track, but if the Sparkses come to race along with the regular crowd, then Max, Keith and I will have more than each other to deal with! Ha, the more the merrier, and let the Devil take the hindmost! It's all good. I just wanna race somebody! Hopefully it will be a great day at the track! YOU had best be there, too, Ben. You can't miss out on this action!

Reggie, I will be there for the race next weekend.
I am still having night vision problems, seeing double at time when my eyes are tired. As a results team Whipp-it and Terrys best Hippo friend will not be running the LeMons race on Saturday. We had another drives fall off the roster so we decided to just pass and will come out Sunday morning to watch the survivors take the checker.

Sounds like the wise choice to make, Ben. You will get plenty of excitement in SS #3, as this is shaping up to potentially be the best race of the summer series. No telling who will be there or what the results will be. And No one has a lock on our race! It will be exciting!!

T, leveler attaches to the end of the hoist and allows you to change the angle that the engine hangs. I'm guessing it will be a big help when pulling the engine with the transmission... about to go find out.

Good for you, David. You've got some time to get it done. I'm working on my winch on my trailer and some other things, so you're not alone out in this heat!

I generally just bench press 'em back in.... ;D Reggie, how's the itinerary go for one of these Summer races...? I need to open up the old gray car to sort out the problem we had at the enduro. If I could shake it down a few laps in practice, qualy, I'd hang around and do race 3. T
