is there anything different\new from last years tech inspection we need to be prepared for? Uh yeah...., if you have an inline four cylinder, you can only use 1 camshaft. They'll be checking for the second one and disabling it in the name of fairness.... ;D 3 liter 944S2s are only allowed three spark plug wires and Dennis Paul's 911 has to carry 1500 lbs. of ballast or remove 1 wheel. Clint, seriously....I don't think there's anything different.
There was some change to allow 2 piece driver suits but I can't think of anything else driver or car.

The only Spec Miata rule change is require SMs numbered only with the number "7" or some variant thereof (e.g., "77") to use superchargers with at least 5 lbs boost, but no more than 75 lbs boost. All others may compensate by inserting a brown potato into their own SM's tailpipes.

i like the d.paul proposal...i say we start a vote. just kidding...i am glad nothing has changed and look forward to a new chapter in the red group(aka porsche club). i hand painted ccm style the front of the car(looks like sh!t but its rust proof) the other day and started knocking the cob webs out of the interior...still smells like a racecar.

Clint and anyone else reading this,
The tech day is designed to help the racers shake the cob webs loose in both the car and in their head. Please check belt dates, shoe soles that may be coming loose etc. etc. etc.
We just want to make sure everybody has a chance to go over their cars and make sure they are in compliance. We will not have time this year to haggle on I'll get it next time items. We want everyone to be prepared and ready to go have fun.
One last note, SA2000 helmets will be honored until December 31, 2010. This should allow everyone adequate time to get the new SA2010 helmets if they are waiting on that label.
As always, shoot me an e mail of you have any questions.
