Greetings,
Looks like a fine unit. I would buy one if I didn't already have the AEM in the car.
What other products do you sell and where exactly is the shop?
I sent you an email with my contact information.
Thanks, Patrick

Hey Patrick - got your email and replied.
Also, I'd be willing to wheel and deal for a small patch of real estate on someones car. Just throwing it out there.

IS the sensor-control unit harness shield insulated against RF or just twisted....?
Nice setup, great price.....!

The sensor control unit harness is not built to be RF shielded, but the unit was designed for that not to cause any issues.
If you're worried about interference that is caused by the cable, you'll be happy to know that the highest frequency signal is about ~1khz on the cable itself. (this should be fine for any equipment you're running)
As for RF interference from other devices onboard, the SLC is actually built with that in mind. The controller was built to be used in a noisy environment, and was designed around a "Cypress PSOC" micro-controller. This is the only wide-band in the industry that uses it, and the real benefit is that it could be configured to reject noise, providing a rock-solid reliable output.

The placement of the sensor on a 944 is such that the harness would run over the bell housing and there are two A/C timing/reference sensors that read the flywheel speed and position. Do you carry the replacement sensor separately and what is the cost on that...? What is the expected life of the sensor in hours....? TIA, T

The kit does come with a Bosch 17014 sensor. It's tough to determine a lifespan on them, but even on leaded fuel, it can vary from 50-500 hours.
The sensors themselves are available at any local parts house for roughly 50 bucks or so.

As many of you are aware, our 14point7 wideband controllers come with a full 1 year warranty for repair or replacement through the manufacturer. This warranty is far longer than the typical 3-6 month warranties offered by competing brands and products.
As a way to further spread the message about just how well designed and well built the SLC Pure Plus is, 14point7 is offering a full 6 month extension on the warranty of its controller product through its"Give 10" promotion!
Basically, all you have to do is this. Give us 10 minutes of your time to write out and post a 200-word review of the 14point7 SLC Pure Plus, and post it on ANY AUTOMOTIVE FORUM. (Doesn't have to be the Circuit Grand Bayou forum, although it would be a great benefit to everyone here if you did!). Once you've posted it, email the review, a link to the forum it's posted on, and your name to TOALAN@14POINT7.COM, and you'll be eligible for your 6 month warranty extension. Be sure to mention that you purchased the wideband from the Acadiana Sports Car Orphanage if you indeed do so.
By participating, you will then have an unheard-of 18 month warranty on your wideband controller!!*
Acadiana Sports Car Orphanage, as well as 14point7, are absolutely proud to stand behind this product, and believe the best way to prove this is to offer the industry's leading warranty program. If you decide to purchase a SLC Pure Plus wideband controller, please take the opportunity to participate in letting everyone know how you feel about your experience.
Thanks -Zack *Warranty does not cover Bosch O2 sensor

Great News guys!
I was able to verify through 14point7 that the SLC Pure Plus can be used in conjunction with MEGASQUIRT!
The owner of 14point7 confirmed this via e-mail last night, and thought I'd pass this info along:
"Works with MS without issues. In MS there is a profile for the PLX Lambda controller, our controller outputs the same 0-5v profile so you can just set it as PLX and it will work."
For anyone looking to use a solid wideband O2 solution with the Megasquirt system, the SLC Pure Plus controller is ideal for the task, offering native USB connectivity, built-in LED display, and datalogging capabilities.
Feel free to message me or post here for any inquiries you might have about this!
Thanks! Zack

I've moved several actually, and I plan on increasing sales with my full page magazine ad in this month's issue of Nissan Sport. I would like to try to get some in cars locally though.

I received an email from Matt Brown @ NIStune this morning.
Although not completely official, SLC Pure Plus has been added to NIStune. Matt will be doing some beta testing to ensure functionality, and will let me know when it is completed, and has the NIStune seal of approval!
Thanks guys -Zack
