The Frank Lamb Project

Hey Guys,

Most of you know about "The Frank Lamb Project" and how a bunch of our fellow racers got together once a week for about 6 weeks to get Frank "Buzzy" Lamb's Formula Vee back together so that he could see it run before he got too sick to make it out to the track. Unfortunately, Frank took a turn for the worse after the 1st session and he passed away about 2 weeks later. Frank was a good man and the guys that worked on his car gave up some of their free time to help out on the project. Thanks to everyone who worked on the project. It was a good thing to do and you can be proud to say you did it for one of our own.

I added some more photos to the on-line web album. The Vee looked good at the track, but unfortunately by the feature race it didn't have one more lap left in it. Maybe putting the "Grinch" on it was a jinx! I'm sure Frank got a big belly laugh out of it!

Merry Christmas to y'all too Patty, that was a great idea to move that topic over here so it isn't lost in the shuffle.

There's a lot of good content, discussions and info from the old forum that will have to all be rehashed here I guess.

And uh...., thanks for not getting a close-up of that center section of the V..... , the nose and tail looked ok considering the time frame but we ran short on time on the center.
