Hi, my name is Phil and I like to ride motorcycles, really fast - on a track - whenever I can. How's it going, I can't wait to make it to one of you guys events. chopt LateApexTrackDays Attachments:

Nice to have you around Phil. Come try four wheels when you get time. Here is the picture of Phil riding for those who do not know about Motorcycles. They take gas just like the cars do.

Hey Phil, What would it cost to get set up for riding a bike on the track? I've always been partial to Ducatis (916 & Monster) but that was a long while back.

Those Ducks are expensive, the funnest bikes or in the 600 range. There's a Suzuki Vtwin SV650 that makes alot of torque down low 4000-7000 rpm range that is very forgiving and an inexpensive fun way to get your foot in the door. I just purchased that Kawi 636 - Ninja 600 with a 636cc engine - and it doesn't start making power until 12000 -13000 r's redlining at 15500 or 16000 making it less forgiving than the SV, if the wrong gear is selected. If you have any experience with dirtbikes comparing the VTwin to the I4(inline 4 cyclinder) as you would a 4 stroke(SV) to a 2 stroke(I4). I've seen SV's ranging from 1800.00 to 3500.00bux, then you'll need leathers ranging from 400.00 to 2000.00bux, boots from 150.00 to 500.00bux, gloves another 150+bux or so and a helmet. We have Kevin Nolde-rentmyninja.com attending our track days that rents Ninja 250's including gear, check his site-out that may be a way for you or others thinking about trying it without buying the equipement. I'll try to check back here often to answer any questions or email me at: lateapextrackdays.com. Phil
Oh and Chris, everyone was having so much fun and didn't think it could get any better so I acted like I ran out of fuel to get an extra chuckle. sucka
