Does anybody else miss winning a trophy. Money is great, but I miss not taking a trophy home. I spend the little money I won in the bar or gas on the way home. With a trophy I at least have it to prove I won a race one time. I also miss the friday night trophy racing. I know they have gambler races on Fridays but its not the same and racing against cars on a motorcycle is pressing your luck. I seen too many cars cross the center line. Me personally, I like waving one around and displaying it in the garage next to my bike. So please bring back the trophy, even if its only 4 or 5 feet tall.

I second that. I kept my first win trophy and gave the next few to people who helped me get there. Those were very heartfelt gifts. Many people have asked my wife what the little christmas tree in her office is all about. I do, however, keep all the runner-up ones where I can see them and try to remember to not make the same mistakes twice.
In the past, wasn't the purse cut to pay for the trophies? With the better payouts of late, I'm sure the winners wouldn't mind ponying up for some hardware.
I'll gladly pay for the dozen trophies I plan to win this year.
I guess I have to finish putting the bike back together and actually show up first. See you guys in February.

I'm a Super pro racer and would also like to see the trophy races come back on Friday nights.
It was fun racing on a Friday night for a trophy and Saturday for the money.
Bring back the trophy races. I only have 9 and need to add to my collection!

next to my wallys npr trophy s have always been special and one of akind bring um back would like to add to my collection and show off them off keep up the good wk of getting defferent kinds I very much like their uniqueness money goes quick trophys last a life time thanks npr for a great place to race mr. 1985

I definitely miss our trophies.... we need something to show off for bragging rights!! It also helps with advertisement for the track.. someone comes to the man/lady cave and sure will ask about our collection.. which leads to a conversation of "when do yall race next? I would love to come SPECTATE" CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY OF THOSE SPECTATORS!!!!! Just my 2cents  |

I also miss the trophy's ! Its real simple "you cant spend a trophy". Everybody has cash, only the best of the night get trophy's. Don't get me wrong the money is nice but there is something special about getting home and putting that trophy on the shelf for everyone to see. When its all said and done and you put the helmet away for the last time, its not the money that's going to remind you of your racing accomplishments its going to be the trophy's. If it is at all possible Please bring back the Trophy's and Friday Night Trophy Racing.
