As one of the partners of No Problem Raceway, I would like to address a few misperceptions and general questions.
The new ownership has been in place for approximately 3 years to date. From day one, we have focused our energy and money on the racers and the racing surface of the track. As racers ourselves, we understand and appreciate the effort and expenses required to participate in this sport. We also know that we are in the entertainment business and as such, must compete with a wide variety of activities on a weekly basis to earn your business. It has always been, and remains so today, our mission to attract racers first and then focus on spending money to attract spectators. "Without racers, there are no spectators."
With that said, we have been working tirelessly to improve the track and facilities to make it the best track possible for the racers. Granted, we have made our share of mistakes and acknowledged them, but continue to put forth our best efforts to constantly improve.
Since June of this year, we have placed Stevie Ray in charge of drag strip operations, which includes the everyday prep and maintenance of the track surface, calendar of events for 2014, securing new racing events for 2014 and improvements to our upcoming Points Racing Series, among other things. His efforts to date have been noticed among the racing community, as the track surface has never been better and the car count for events has continued to rise. With Stevie Ray taking over the responsibility of creating and scheduling our 2014 drag racing events, we are sure that you, the racers, will be impressed with the upcoming schedule as well.
Those of you who have been frequent racers at No Problem Raceway over the last 3 years have seen the significant investment into the facility that we have made to date and we will continue to do so to try to make it the destination track of racers and fans from locals to those from surrounding states.
As any other business, we must constantly be open to change in order to work towards profitability. It is in this spirit that we have operated and worked to please as many of our customers as possible. While we realize we can not please everyone, it is our ongoing goal to find the perfect balance which allows us to provide the best racing facility with the best events at a price point which allows us grow and continue to invest back into the racers and their needs.
I would like to personally thank the racers who have been loyal supporters of No Problem Raceway and would like to extend an invitation to those who haven't raced here in a while to revisit us in the near future. I am certain that you will notice significant improvements from your last visit.
Sincerely,
Kent Broussard
