In going through my photographs I found my Formula Vee that I owned in the mid 90's. So I started to do a search to see if the car was still around and what ever happened to it. It was the Grinch Formula Vee that was the subject of the "Fank Lamb" project and I found the Blind Mule blog. That blog ultimately landed me here on this forum. I will have to spend some time reading through that blog to see the whole story. It sounded like quite a group effort to get the car together. I see the ending of the story was sad and that Frank has passed away before all was completed. That was a car I wanted to work my way to national racing and run a Vee like I wanted when I joined in 1989. A growing family and tight budget was the reason I had to give it up. But that car started me on my VW trend. I now run an H Production Golf. Would love to hear on where the car is and what is happening with it. Attachments:

The car now resides with Teddy the Great at his palace in Gulfport Mississippi. He has taken it on as a time killer. It was great to be able to work with Frank and all of the guys who participated on the rebuild. I will never forget the night we got it to run, you should have seen the amount of water and slime that blew out of those pipes.
Thanks for bringing back that memory,
Chris

My son, now 12, loves the open wheel cars. When I showed him the picture that you see above, he thought it was real cool! It took a lot of web surfing to find the blog link. A little more digging to find a place to ask and find out more about it. Pretty soon we will be looking to move up from his karting to something bigger. I love the formula vees, he likes the F500's. The problem with those it seems to be a dying class. I would love to exchange emails with Ted and find out more on the car progress, etc.
