The Louisiana 400 Returns to the Circuit this February. It will be held in conjunction with Race 6 of the GCRS event. Practice will be Friday, Feb 15, from 4 to 8 pm with Qualifying at 12;15 on Saturday and the race beginning at approximately 3 pm. This race has previously been held in the rain, in 100 plus degree temps and now we try it in what we hope to be much cooler temps. The 400 is open to all race cars that can pass our standard GCRS tech and will be paying out awards in two different classes. All Chump and Lemons cars are invited to join us for what is sure to be 400 miles of cool fun. Feel free to post questions on this topic and we'll be sure and answer them promptly.

Plans already in the works as of yesterday.
We should have 3 944s going for private bragging rights.
Fred said he was going to do it in his second 944, Gary Small said he was going to get up a team for his black SP2 and of course, maybe the only car to do all 3 previous LA4/500s, war horse Frankie.

HInt, Hint. my butt! With the drive she had last year to end the event, starting up her own team should be a breeze. I feel pretty comfortable Max would rather run with her than against her. Come on Dad, get it done!

Shouldn't be any problem rounding up more than 10 cars.....!?!?!?!
We're in if it's on.

Only 2 BMWs signed up so far...first car to make 400 miles wins, could end up being the nation's longest enduro!

Guys please note the time changes for the practice on Friday evening. Also, Qualifying will be a single lap time by a driver chosen by the team. With regards to the minimum car count, we must have at least ten cars signed up and paid by February 13th. If we do not have the car count, all cars signed up and paid will get 100% of there entry fees back. We want to put on a race, but can not afford to subsidize it.
Thanks in advance for your concideration and support!

Nice to see old friends again.
Two driver strategy was probably the way to go for four hours.
Thanks to Chris, Kent and Lois and all the corner workers.

Same here, T. Nice to see the staff, racers, old and new friends-everybody. Lots of good folks working, racing and spectating. I kind of wish I had gone ahead and entered the bracket racing, but I had never driven this Porsche and didn't want to mess it up while "learning". So, I took it easy in D.E. and the car lived to race another day-like in 2 weeks. Can't wait. See you at the PCA race.
