I just want to take a moment and personally thank all of you who came out and supported the event. Although the car count was not what we expected, it was people who made the time and turned out that made it special for me.
We are still waiting for a few more donation commitments to come in, but its looking like we will be able to write a check to St Marys for just over $20,000.
I especially want to thank the generous racers and workers who selflessly donated a portion if not all of there winnings / earnings for the event back to the kids at St Marys.
Again, thanks for all of the support and help, tell your friends to be ready for next year, this road race / Drag Race combo deal is just getting started. So much so, the Hecker foundation has committed to back the event in 2013!
