Yesterday when the double yellow came out I think I was in turn 14. I was in the middle of the front runners of the bracket class and had my hands full trying to get through the turn and stay out of their way. If there was a double yellow in turn 14, and I got to believe there was, I missed it and so did the guys in front of me. I came barreling around the corner and didn't see the guys hand waving out his window till the last second. (we were in a right hand turn, he stuck his hand out of the drivers window)They were going VERY slow and I had to lock up to keep from running into the back of the 944 . Because turn 14 is a blind turn onto the straight I would suggest the pace car accelerate hard and clear the turn before slowing the line. Once down the straight he could throttle back.

Yep, there was a double yellow at T14.
I came off after the first hot lap, was only out for the start and to use a hot lap to help diagnose a noise I heard in the heat race.
I was standing right up on the barriers watching the race, pulling for "the kid" when the yellow flew.
Also, Harris sent the pace car when there was a pretty decent gap.
Don't know why he might have been going slow but protocol should have been for the corner workers to all throw the switch on the flashing yellow lights at their respective stands to get your attention too.

The flag station in turn 14 is very had to see. All I ever see in 14 is the wall on the drag strip and trying not to hit it.
I don’t think anyone looks at the station while running turn 14, the only time to see it is coming around turn 12. Years ago the station was in turn 13 and easy to see.
Just my two cent worth.
