Attention Racers!!!!!
In an effort to have a little extra fun this Saturday, we will be doing a best reaction time contest for anyone who wants to participate during the first round of time trials. The track will be putting up the first $25 and the entry fee of $5 per driver will be added to the pot. The pot will be paid to the person with the best first round reaction time without going red. If we have a tie, the pot will be split.
Our Junior Dragster fundraiser for this event will be a closest to the dial 50/50 during a special 3rd round of time trials. The fee for this additional round and contest will be $10 with the winner splitting the pot with the Juniors Bristol Fund. The track will add an additional $50 to the pot if we have a dead dial with a ZERO! If we end in a tie for closest dial in, we will use the best reaction time as a tie breaker.
Sorry Juniors, some may consider this a form of gambling and we don't want to get you into any trouble.
Hope to see you all at the races this weekend! Chris

Best reaction time contest seems to be a great idea, hope it includes motorcycles.

Are you going to do it for each seperate class, or put all the classes together?

I say have any racer that buys a tech card puts up to win the money that means MC, street box, nobox . If everyone supports this it could mean a fair amount of money for the winner. Richard Hotard

Both Contests are for all who enter minus the Juniors for obvious reasons.
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you to everyone who participated in the extra activities at our last Bracket series races. The best reaction time was a split between Clark Bienvenu. and Alan Cheramie, a box class car and a street car. Just goes to show anyone can win. The total collected was $295 and we pitched in the additional 5 to make it an even $150 take for each of our winners. The Dial in for Dollars was a huge success as well raising $255 for our Junior program and being that our winner, Chad Chiasson ran a dead on with a zero, we added the advertised $50 bonus making that pay out $305. Thanks again to everyone who participated and I look forward to doing more contests in the future.
