Nose to tail, wet weather racing at its finest. Byron Rome was class of the field in the GT Class. Dennis Gros spun out early and passed all but Rome to finish second. Kenny Cangellosi passed 21 cars in the feature ( clarification: he passed the same three cars 7 times, pass them all, spin out, pass them again, spin out, you get the picture) Just kidding, it wasn't 21, but darn close. Vic and Shane wore each other out in the feature, but played second fiddle to Barrios and Danos to were litterally nose to tale the entire event with Barrios making the pass for the last podium spot with two to go. Bracket guys played nice with each other despite the wet conditions. All of the results and the points will be posted later today. Hope you guys had a fun and safe weekend, let us know how y'all did.

How did it go..?
Hmm, it'd be a longer story than the one you posted.
There were seven home boys that made the trip.
Teddy the great Busick, Henry Carter, Eon, The doc Lahaye, Gary Small, Ken Laborde and Mitch Richard.
Teddy's car configuration stuck him with the Cups and he fought an oil leak all weekend..took off saturday night for a meet up in Washington with big wig congressmen.
Gary got into a tangle on the last lap of the first sprint with an E 911 that mashed the passenger side of his S2 E 944 where the other driver got a 13 but G-man soldiered on a did well the rest of the weekend.
Henry had one off that broke his header and a cracked rotor but he changed them out, pulled the header and I did a mig weld job on it that held up the rest of his stay. He took off early too but traded the enduro for the.night race so he got plenty track time.
Mitch touched fenders with another sp2 that ended his weekend after first sprint and Ken had an oil leak that worsened enough for him to not risk the engine after Saturday.
Eon went all three days without a spin, incident or mechanical problem and got faster all weekend, eventually finisbed with a best in the 2.38s with a realistic goal of 2.40 before we left. He was second in class in the 90 minute enduro Sunday but his track position at s/f confused his lap count and he ended up taking the track.exit to pits too early and fell to 4th. Ashamed because he had 1/2 lap lead on all sp2s except Fred Beasley.
Phil...whew....a story in itself. Made first practics..shfter problems..tore that down and changed some bushings and a.coupler that Buckley had on hand...lect for grid, no 3rd or 4th so I adjusted the linkage with engine running and my legs dangling out of the window. Made a few laps...towed in with no drive. Phil said clutch was gone...we set up the car to pull the engine and trans...two days left to run, 4-6 hour job and Buckley had the disc...I crawl under, cv bolts sheared. So I pull the joint, take off the levt drive hub, drill and easy out the broken cv bolts..loctite it all back with some.new.bolts I had brought for our car. He makes a sezsion or two and is making some good progress coming up.to.speed until....left front tire eats through the moton remote reservoir hose. We finally find a trailer that has the equipment and parta to repair the double banjo fitting hose but..we had to get Kieth to call the Moton guy to vind out the oil capacity for.the shock and the remote reservoir. We did a siphon fill of the shock and reservoir that by all accounts has never been done on a Moton learning as we.went with a 5mm tool that I made and threaded right in Phil's trailer. We got that all lined out and Phil made the second.sprint on Sat. And did well coming from.dead.last to just 9 seconds behind Gary in a 60 car field. Trans died with no 3 and 4 at 3 laps into enduro Sunday.
On the way back now on I10, mobile, near Pensecola.

So, Terry, pretty boring weekend, huh? Glad you guys had the excitement of Sebring and the joy of learning new mechanical tricks (?)! Good job of helping your buds. Phil must have had some enjoyable expressions after what he went through. Wish I had been there!
