Anyone have any ideas on how to protect our motors for those of us leaving cars at the track this Saturday night? I don't have an enclosed trailer and obviously do not have antifreeze in the car.

Go outside and start it 2-3 times per night?
Or, grab a remote thermometer used for cooking and insert it into the radiator. I have one that has a radio monitor. You set the temp, and it alerts you when that temp has been reached. You could set it for 35* and it will alert you.
Honestly, though, I think that I'd just drain all the water out of it. Pop the drain plug of the rad, drain the water, then start the car to pump more water out of the engine. Be sure it doesn't run hot, as you won't have much water in it.
Fill it up the next morning, and watch it as the level goes down as air gets purged. I usually let it idle for about 15 minutes to make sure all air pockets are gone.

FWIW, Chris W emailed me and said that anti-freeze would be allowed this weekend.
