Well uh, not too much to report other than constant downpour and tropical force winds.
Eon was 12 of 48 in first practice yest. Fell down the order in the later wef stuff but managed 2nd sp2 today in the raining sprint.
Will try and pop some pics up tonight.
Henry and Mike both survived clean from incident or mechanical problems...Henry had a small scrape at the horseshoe but just a rub.

Eon's grinning now but he wasn't grinning a couple of seconds before this pic. We unload the car, tools, tires, etc. and while swapping the tires, notice that it seems like the LR shock shaft is broken at the upper eye mount. I can promise, there aint another 944 Leda NA shock valved for 650# within 500 miles of Daytona. Turns out, the shaft is threaded and the eye just came unscrewed on it's own....explains the RF swaybar link he snapped at CGB the weekend before... , we pull the shock and Loctite the threaded eye back on....still in business. Henry and Mike getting the S2s ready for practice, Henry would never need those new Hoosiers, Killer props for the Courtyard Marriot, hip, retro place, big screens everywhere around the lobby and bistro.....big screen behind Eon had 24/7 weather.....I think, by his expression, he just saw the "7 inches of rain for the next 48 hours" forecast.... ;D That's Eon's friend Don Granier in the pic, he rode along and split the crew and camera work and worked the pit-car radio for Eon. Going to grid, luckily, for Mike Hamza, Don forgot to turn on Eon's camera and we made the run about a 1/2 mile away from the garage on the golf cart.....when we got there, Mike had stalled the car and was being pushed to the side to miss the session. I quickly popped his hood and reset the on/off kill switch and it fired right up. Pretty nice sized grid, I think there were 48 cars in Eon's race group, E 911s, F 944Ts, E 944S2s and 968s, 1-2 Boxsters and the rest were SP2 cars, maybe the most represented make other than GT Cups in the other run group.......and yes, it was raining, International Horseshoe, T

Great race, Eon. It appeared that everyone was traction challenged, but you did a great job of keeping your 44 pointed in the right direction. Wasn't it good to pass the 11s?

Great job keeping on the track Eon. Wish we'd have known the rain was coming, I'd have lent you my rains. As it was you had great finishes anyway.
Did they cancel the Sunday enduro? I didn't see them listed on MyLaps.

I didn't see them listed on MyLaps. DC let me borrow his rains, so all worked out well. As for the the enduro, I'm not really sure what the deal is with the times. I wanted to check that out because the first 5 laps or so were the driest of the weekend and I wanted to see what kind of times I was able to run in the better conditions. The enduro was not cancele. It was actually dry in the beggining, but after about 5 laps in we got a light rain shower then it stopped for a few more laps. The second rain that came was a bit worse though, I started on dry tires and started sliding up the banking it was raining so bad..... so I decided to call it a day. They did actually balck flag the enduro for 30 minutes I believe and ended up finishing it off
