Sawcutting began on Sunday to remove and replace the existing patches between turn one and 2. Four sections totaling 37 cubic yards were removed and will be re poured on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. This will re open the passing lane between 1 and 2 and help rocket cars through the turn two apex. The full road course will be closed this week, but the intermediate circuit will be available to members. The first scheduled full day will be Sunday for the motorcycles. Pics and the full story will be sent out through e mail.

Hey, if this makes the track faster, are y'all considering adjusting the breakout times..? T

Reggies secret testing, I can't comment, however, I can tell you I was at the track yesterday and the repairs are coming along nicely. The first two sections have been placed and finished. I spoke with our foreman this morning and last nights rain may delay thema bit but he feels confident they will get the remainder completed today. We just need to be patient, let the bikes run on Sunday and all call Reggie on his cell Tuesday around lunch to see howwe did. Confidence is high!!!! Chris

What’s up Reggie, a little secret testing? You must really be worried. The competition is enough to worry everyone! Plus, I have a SECRET weapon [which might be loaded with blanks... ]. I just added this tidbit for Keith's benefit! LOL

Tarps were puilled off Saturday moring and the form materials were removed yesterday morning. The bikes got to run on it and were very complimentary. There was still a little dust coming up when they ran over it, but when we get some rubber in it, we'll be just fine. The T-1 through T3 zone is back and better than ever. Looking forward to Reggies review.

I tested the track today and it is nicely done IMHO. The patches are really White and easy to spot, but they are smooth to cross over. No problems with the patches. Good job, guys. See you there Friday and Saturday. Did I mention it was HOT?!
