Quick recap...more to come. Doc was behind all weekend mostly due to missing a day waiting for a chain tensioner...something we don't have to worry about in our superior 944's. ;D
However he qualified about 5 spots behind me for the enduro on Sunday (black group, orange for the sprints); I think I started in the 28th spot. Well he got by me going into the hairpin on a good move to the inside while I was outside of another car at about lap 4. For the next couple of laps Phil, me and two red 944's, one E class and one F class raced nose to tail until a J class m..... f....., slow in the corners 400 horses on the straights, got in the way.
The J car pushed one of the red 44's off the exit of 5 into the dirt. The next red 44 swung around to the left just clipping the first one who was fishtailing back onto the track. According to Phil, when the dust sort of cleared, he had no time to avoid rear ending the first red 944. Fortunately for me, I saw this coming and had lifted a little and cheated to the left enough to swing around Phil and spin around in the grass. Phil doesn't think he has any frame or suspension damage, but the front end is pretty trashed.
I managed to finish 3rd in class and 15th overall, but I lost about 8 spots when I spun before I could restart and get back on track.

Yeah I heard about the docs fender bender... at least everyone was 13 free right? Sounds like you had a good weekend though, I saw you at the top of the sheets in E looks like Podge was just about untouchable though
