Halloween Drift event/Hella Flush car meet

Hello, I'm one of the local New Orleans drifters representing NODrft.com. Robbie Poupart informed me about the event and he' made a thread on our local forum(nosr.org).

Since I didn't see one up, I'd figure I'll post this thread to promote the event and make sure we can discuss it. I will be promoting this event everywhere I can get access to on the internet(fb, forums, craigslist, google, etc.). I know how much time, risks, and cost these events are; as an appreciation for you guys at grandbayou, I will be printing out a few thousand fliers to pass out so that people will know about this event. I also did the same for our last SCCA Drift event at zephyrs stadium.

Just a reminder about the drift event this Sunday, over 20 drifters and 30 of the hella flush guys expected to be on site along with all of their friends. Super Tommy will be playing music for us and Mathew Barksdale will be performing his motorcycle stunt show at noon. Don't forget about the costume contest. $100 cash prize for the best costume!

WOW!!! What an event. I want to thank all of the guys who came out and supported both the Drifting and Hella Flush. Red Bull stepped up and provided the Arch that gave the event that big time feel.
Drifter numbers were few, but it was all about quality! Lance, Ion and Kim took home the prize money and Bumble Bee and the Deutsch Couple left splitting the Costume Contest prize.
Close to 200 competitors and visitors came through the gate and were treated to a great show.
keep an eye on the calender for the event date in the spring!

out of all the npr drift events, i think this one is at the top of my list.




hopefully we can get together and plan a future event that doesn't fall on a holiday or a home saints game...
