It doesn't look very likely at this point. It will probably be moved back. Are you going to Hallet in Oct? I'm not sure about Hallett. Got the front end of a 13/13 there last year; I'm not sure I wnat to tempt fate. But if a big enough gang goes...I might just tempt her I was lookingt hard at Carolina Motorsports, maybe even in my illegal SP2, despite what I said earlier. There will be a ton of SP2's there from Florida and the East. Roebling Road is looking good also. And it's after my 13/13 is up I'm pretty certain Me, T, Doc Phil, and Teddy( if his car is fixed) are going to go to try to make hallet.

I knew one of you guys would come up with an excuse for Frankie. I did see it in the GT Racing catalog. And, I think you are right, that should cover me. Hell, in this economy, they can't afford to send anyone home pissed!
I like the look of that splitter. Is it rubber, plastic, fiberglass or a secret compound you and T cooked up?
My fiberglass one makes me nervous...not that I go off track or anything like that ;D

I knew one of you guys would come up with an excuse for Frankie. I did see it in the GT Racing catalog. LOLZ, no excuses...., Frankie is so old and has so many track miles, an astonished crowd gathers around it every time we drop it off the trailer out of town...., let's just say it's "grandfathered" in... ;D I'm waiting for a snail mail invite to a nostalgic event from PCA.. And funny enough that Eon posted his *cough* Coral Red Metallic car in this thread....Frankie's bumper comes from Eon's car, the way he originally had it configured before the turbo nose conversion. He had another 944 base nose between the 924 & current 951 nose but it was damaged in a wreck.....and the remnants of that second bumper was the donor for the lower black portion on Frankie's nose....Phil grafted it on with fiberglass and rivets to make the 924 one lower... The rear diffuser on Frankie also came from our parts stash. I guess in a way, your car and Frankie share a little history too. Chick body and chick motor, separated at 25 years old.. T

Eon, Who's copper 944 is that? I believe it's parked at a house on Clearview in Metairie. 4master #909 Very rare, maybe 2 or 3 993s were ordered with this color and 10 or less 968s...., it's called Coral Red Metallic, looks burnt orange pearl. It's an '87 944S that I bough with engine damage around 20 years ago, repaired the engine and used it as a daily driver for many many miles until Eon turned 16. I gave him the car as his first ride and we totally dismantled it and restored it to his taste. Was originally Maraschino Red. This is another one of the engines we did with the Swain Tech PC9 coating on the pistons. He converted it to "turbo look" and changed the brakes over to turbo calipers and rotors. Also, this entire interior, carpets and all, come from my 87 project car. I think the wheels are 996 10 spokes, one of the best looking wheels on a '44, too bad they are too narrow in the front at 7" for track use... ;D A lot of history in this car too....! T

Maybe... You guys have one that we could look at? I have a brand new set sitting on my car in the batcave that haven't been mounted for your viewing pleasure. They are the bottom mount though, I think DC has the top mount set on his car maybe you could look at at the track.
