Uh Andy....., as serious as a heart attack, if you want to collaborate on this 318ti project, I'll happily donate the chassis to the cause.
Personally, I'd rather try my hand at squeezing the same power from the 1.9 DOHC engine........reliably, that the mechanical and technically un-gifted have to fork over $7500 for.
Cubes isn't king.....it's cheating...
Either way....., I have the chassis, the tubing bender and some other things to contribute.
I even have a stall to stable the car in.
You have the drive train and possibly some other stuff.
I can even swing $$ towards the project.
What I don't have is the extra time.
Let's do the thing up on halves and you can drive it and you and Russ even have a platform to test and demo some of y'all products.
Results can only further y'all venture.
With your mechanical ability and schedule I can't see this getting stalled like my 944T.
Maybe after this thing is up and running, maybe you and Russ could help me time-wise to wrap up the 944T as the platform for the Porsche side of your product line.
Now....back on topic......, yes, I'm the ONE vote on the SPEC tire rule vote.
Not that I was giddy about the wording, because the intent of the argument pre-vote was for BRACKET classes ONLY but I kinda felt obligated to vote yes anyway... ;D
