That was the first one lapping day in this format that I ever went to.
Works very smoothly and flowing with no delays.
Seems like the perfect venue for casual lapping for people interested in road course instead of drag racing and we already know that it's 10 times the fun as the 1/4 mile... ;D
Now....how many of you Sunday afternoon warriors have plans for purpose built road course or race cars...?

I am looking around for one right now and trying to come up with the money at the same time. I'm thinking something that will run in the Red bracket or GT2 class.

Don't forget I have my 1991 MR2 turbo for sale. Never had a mechanical all season, motor with full rebuild forged pistons and all has only one GCRS season (8 or so races) on it. Perfect GT2 competitor. Tires are $420 shipped for a set that are capable of 1:19.001 on my fastest run. $13k and it is a killer deal - you won't find a faster car cheaper, nor do I think you can build one. I have $16k in parts on it and a year of tweaking. Patrick

I'm going to text Troy and get him to answer your questions in the For Sale section re. the Mazda. Good car, good deal, plenty spares. You can see it at Chris Carver Motorsports. I'm sure Troy could meet you there to take a look. Troy ran the car in yellow bracket but it might be capable of a jump to red because he ran it at CGB in the SCCA or ITS rules specification. T
