Chris, Kent, what's the date of the enduro this year....?
The Doc is heading up NW for the summer and we are trying to plan a meet up in Moab for some rock climbing in the Hummer and Touareg second week in July.

Mark you calendars...2nd place is up for grabs! Second is up for grabs.......but it's gonna be Doc Phil behind my Touareg with his Hummer hooked to my tow strap.... ;D On the 400.....Pfft, who knows, old Frankie has a ton of time and miles on him and the free race thing proved the car is back sound after the Hallet crash....not certain about the cooling....temps were higher than I would have like to seen on a day with reasonable ambient compared to what it'll be late July but, we'll see.... Hey, if there's prize money involved, I'll make sure the cooling system is top rate....! Y'all in Paul....? T

BTW - NEWS FLASH.....! The Burch is back in town, the Burch is back in town...., Spread the word around. Uhm, that's Thin Lizzy for all you youngsters.... Anyways, Paul B. is picking up an '87 944 today for a race car build. Word of warning for the red bracket.....me, Paul and Eon are coming with all stops out this year to sweep 1,2 and 3....y'all better have your ducks in a row. If you have been pedaling a car with faster than a 1.24 potential just to stay in red bracket, you'd better browse the GT rules 'cause there aint gonna be any room between us and break out time.... ;D

We're in...Kenny C., Wedge, and another star-geezer in what the good doctor refers to as a "boxcar" Ironically, it's the ex-Burch BMW with a gas sipping 2.5L and hopefully all the wheels firmly attached and pointed in the right direction. Great new about the return of Paul B, last we spoke he was talking about a V8 powered Supra or something...THAT'S entertaiment! Put him in Frankie for the 400!

Ol' 492 still has some race left in it! Hey if you have a few minutes to kill, check out the enduro at Watkins Glen in my E class at last months PCA races. Started 7th in class, finished 3rd to two rocket ship 911 rear engine cheating SOB's; not that I'm bitter. vimeo.com/24655717

Dang G, car looks good and stable, looks like you put that manual rack in too but uhm, to heck with the 911s......that Spec Barbie class is half full of Juan Pablo Montoya wannabes.... BTW - what's the price for a section of guard rail over there...? Not enough run-off for me. T

T Yeah the specs are fun to run with, about the same on power, but they crap out in 5th and the suspension they have to run isn't as good as remotes and the set up I've got. We didn't run with them in the Saturday sprint races, I was really just running with E class. But they put all the SP 944's, Spec Boxters and D and E class together for the enduro. They didn't ell us how much...they just took our CC #'s at the gate BTW - How could you tell I put in the manual rack Other than you sold it to me ;D

We didn't run with them in the Saturday sprint races, I was really just running with E class. But they put all the SP 944's, Spec Boxters and D and E class together for the enduro. Yeah, Hallet was 25-30 SBs and 4 944s I think....Eon battled a ton of 'em at TWS too, somewhere around a 50 car run group and 30 of 'em must have been SBs. Looks like they are really pushing those to be the next 944 entry car race wave. BTW - How could you tell I put in the manual rack Other than you sold it to me ;D That much input would put have you into the wall with the power steering converted to manual ratios. Once you chop the PS pump, hoses and PS cooler, there's no weight savings so it's just a preference between the two on the input/output ratios.......we run so much camber that the initial turn in is effortless with the converted PS rack anyway. Mid corner and standing the front wheels back up on track out takes a little more effort but I rather the closer ratio. T
