Right click, select "copy image location", hit "profile" at the top of forum page, click "modify profile", in the space for "avatar", right click, select "paste", make sure to click the "modify profile" button at the bottom of the page before leaving page or it won't save. T

Reg, in case you missed it, you can just right click and "copy image location" from here. Hit paste in your profile menu blank for the avatar. T

Thanks, Terry, but I have tried that till I'm blue in the face, but it doesn't work on my computer and program. Of course, I'm stone-age oriented.... You have to post the file up to an image host first...., I use www.imageshack.com. There are others, Eon uses Flikr. You either need to pre-shrink the photo to 100 x 100 pixels or less before loading it up to the host or...if you are using imageshack....there is a drop down menu where you select the file to adjust it's size even if you upload the unmolested original. Just choose "100 x 100 avatar" from the selections at the drop down menu. Done and dusted.., After you see your image when the loading task is finished, click it again to open the picture and then right click the picture itself and click "copy image location" from the menu. This is what you want to paste in your avatar slot in your forum user profile. You can just hit Ctrl+V which is the short cut for pasting. T

BTW Reggine, right click your full sized photo and hover over "open with" and select "paint".
Up at the top tabs select "File" and then "resize". and experiment until you get it to the size you want.
