I want to thank everyone for their help with my busted car after qualifying. Special kudos to the Simon father/son duo for their quick work, crew chief Ed and spare parts supplier Gary. Also thanks to all of you who helped unload my car from the rollback and the many jacks needed to accomplish it all. Truly a paddock team effort and a testament to the great comradarie track side.
Thanks to you all I was able to finish the day with a second place finish in an interesting feature race.
See you all next time!

Ed Ed, I'll be around this weekend, no problem. I'll be between the shop in the city (Plaquemine) and the Bat Cave race shop (Brusly). Car is outside for you to see already though so if I'm not there in that location depending on what time y'all come, I can talk you into the location over the phone. I'm jammed up from all directions but I'll most likely be in Brusly where the car is Saturday doing some welding on a 968 fire wall and sorting a buddy's 944T stand alone ECU wiring... T

Well Walt, Ed....y'all have been entrusted with the knowledge of the Bat Cave location.
With that comes the responsibility of the oath of secrecy.... ;D

I can neither confirm nor deny any knowledge of it's existence or it's location. It's secret is safe with me along with the truth about Area 51 and what really happened to JFK. I used to work for the gov't... they trusted me with lots of secrets.... And don't worry about Ed, I made him drive blindfolded.

The red '84 nobody seemed to want for $800 is sold, destined for track use. $125 fuel pump fix. Eon and his friend Don, the new owner, already stripped it.... T
